CIRCULAR ECONOMY FAR NORTH QUEENSLAND
(FORMERLY THE COMMITTEE FOR WASTE REDUCTION)
SOME OF THESE ARE LONG PLAY PROJECTS AND THEY WILL KEEP EVOLVING SO WE WILL UPDATE THEIR PAGES AS WE PROGRESS
You know when the stars align and destiny just puts the right people together at the right time. That's what this project is about, serendipity and a beautiful constraint.
This is our larger Case Study for the year. We are partnering with Plastic Free Cairns, Green KPI and Reforest to help roll out systems, curate data and help more businesses in FNQ become #zerowastebusinesses.
Through this we will be promoting their good in our directory and through our unique software that we use to help build out each of our participants content in the directory so people can stay up to date on how each business is changing through our program. We are quite excited about this one as we are collaborating with some awesome passionate and driven people on this and the excitement is spreading.
The goods of today are the resources of tomorrow at yesterday's resource prices
Circular Economy Far North Queensland is committed to making the transition to a Circular Economy that aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals and supporting Australian Innovation.
We partner with existing awesome humans to help bring Circular Economy Framework to life in FNQ. And share how we are doing it along the way. #bettertogether
Circular Economy FNQ acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the Lands on which we work and pay our respects to Indigenous Elders past, present, and emerging. We support the Uluru Statement from the Heart to achieve justice, recognition and respect for First Nations people and a referendum to enshrine a First Nations Voice in the Constitution
